Here are instructions for setting up the clock on an iPod:
1. Rather than relying on the clock radio to wake you, you can make use of the built in alarm in iPod. The iPod also lets you shut the alarm but programmatically at a command. You first need to make yourself comfortable with clock setting.
2. Choose “Extra” in main menu. Now choose “Clock” first, the screen will display date and time which has to be configured as per requirement. Adjust date and time zone in the beginning before going ahead to configure it.
3. Now go to main menu and click on “Settings”. Click the “Set Time Zone” alternative. Browse through it and choose appropriate time zone.
4. Go back to main menu and scroll down “settings” menu. Select Date & Time from here. The number showing hour will get highlighted. Adjust these numbers for setting the correct hour, time and date.
